When I saw this book, I just had to pick it up! I wanted to be a zookeeper at the time this book came out and thought it would be a great book to read, especially since the author is a zookeeper. This book tells you of Jack Hanna’s life, from his family, to how he became a zookeeper, to how he started working at the Columbus Zoo. There’s also stories about his trips to other countries, conservation of animals, and stories about people he’s met throughout his life. It was just a book I couldn’t put down. It also includes several pages of pictures, which is an added bonus. If you love animals, want to be a zookeeper, are a fan of Jack Hanna, or just want a good read, this is the perfect book!
